Sunday Bible Studies

     Carmel, 9:30-10:20 am

    Pastors’ Large-Group Class

    • SEPT 15, 22, 29: Discipleship is a group activity. When we come to worship and Bible study, we are engaging with others as we praise and learn more about God. In an effort to allow us you get to know even more CLC disciples than you already do, we are going to mix things up during the Adult Bible Study time. As you come in to Bible study, you will be encouraged to sit with other disciples that you might not know (or know as well) as we dig into learning what the Bible says about the God we worship.
    • OCT 6-NOV 9: Our fall discipleship emphasis will follow the sermon series “Committed” as we focus on our commitments to worship, service, sharing the Gospel, spiritual growth, and generosity.
    • Leaders: The Pastors
    • Location: Gym

Revelation of Jesus Christ (Starts Sept. 29)

    • Many believers would suggest that the Book of Revelation is the most challenging book in the Bible to read. God’s Holy Spirit gave his disciple, John, a spiritual vision with a simple instruction: “Write on a scroll what you see.” (Rev. 1:11a) Readers and the variety of interpretations ever since have suggested that it is more than a simple writing. The Book of Revelation is a revelation of Jesus Christ: His mission and ministry, his death and resurrection, his Lordship, and his coming again. The final book of the New Testament is the “Amen!” of Holy Scriptures and has the last word: “The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.” (Rev. 22:21)
