Committed

As followers of Christ and disciples of Cornerstone Lutheran, we are committed to growing in our faith and sharing that faith with our friends, family, neighbors and communities. Each week, we'll explore how Jesus sets the example for us to commit in different areas of our lives: worship, action, generosity, growth and sharing.

It's one thing to talk about commitment, but it's another to act. Here, you'll find practical resources and aids that correspond with each act of commitment.

  • Committed to Worship

Rather than worship being a “have to”, we find joy in our worship as we are built up by the Holy Spirit in the truth of His Word. We respond in prayer and praise for all the Lord does for us.

We'd love for you to join us for worship at one or more of our sites. We have 10 services over the course of the weekend, plus education hour for adults and children.

    Fishers

    Indy

You can also watch our services live each week and find them on demand at any time.

  • Committed to Action

As Jesus came to serve, so we commit ourselves to serving others. Serving can happen in big or small ways, but when done with a humble heart, it points others to Jesus.

Here are some ways you can serve through CLC and in our community:

  • Committed to Share

The Good News of Jesus is too good not to share! As Christians, we have the privilege of sharing with our friends, family, neighbors, community and all those we come into contact with each and every day.

Find sharing your faith intimidating? Here are a few places to start:

    Write your testimony

Follow and like CLC on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and share our posts with your friends.

    We also offer:

  • Small Group "Committed" Study

What does it look like to follow Christ completely through worship, action, growth, sharing, and generosity? Throughout the month of October and into November, we are focusing on these things as we respond to the commitment our Lord has shown to us through His grace in Jesus Christ.

Senior Pastor, Luther Brunette, has prepared a short video and accompanying Bible study for you and your small group. Perhaps your group will take a break from your current study to focus on the teachings we see in Luke chapter 5 as Jesus calls His disciples to full commitment.
