Monthly Senior Lunch in May

May’s Senior Luncheon will be meeting on Monday, May 6, noon, in room 102 at our Carmel site. Our guest speaker will be Vince Welch. Vince, a former disciple at CLC, has spent the last 20+ years as a national television broadcaster. A veteran of four decades in the broadcast business, Vince was part of the Indianapolis 500 on-air broadcast team at ABC and ESPN for 15 years. He has a long history of broadcasting in Indianapolis, dating back to his years at WISH-TV and WIBC radio. He’s hosted the Bob Knight Show, broadcast numerous high school state championships, and broadcast the last baseball game at the old Bush Stadium and the first game at Victory Field.

Please bring something to share for our pitch-in luncheon. Gloves will be available at the buffet line if you would like to use them. Please come and enjoy some delicious food, fellowship with your CLC peers, and learn from, and be entertained by, Vince Welch. Senior Euchre

CARMEL: Senior Euchre meets in the Carmel Senior Lounge on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of the month, from 1-3 PM (next dates: April 24 and May 8 & 22). For more information, contact Verne Hanson or the church.

EAGLE CREEK: Enjoy a couple hours of Euchre on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, 1-3 PM, in the portable classroom located at the west end of the main building. (Next date: May 1 & 15). Contact Robert Lucke with questions.

Saturday Senior Exercise

This class for senior men and women focuses on maintaining and increasing flexibility, balance, and coordination through light stretching and strength building. Join us Saturday mornings from 10-11 AM in Carmel gym. Enter through door 5. Contact Dee Webster or the church with questions.
