Virtual Learning Volunteer Opportunity

Looking for a way to assist students during this different time of virtual learning?

Many students need a safe place to do their virtual classes and school work during the day. Shepherd Community Center and CLC Indy are partnering to assist IPS students! CLC Indy is a virtual learning site for IPS students to have access to WiFi, supervision during the day, and a friendly face to offer help when needed (and the occasional snack).

We are hosting these students 5 days a week during the school day. We need at least one volunteer for each 2-hour shift to be a room monitor and to help sanitize the learning areas, restrooms, etc. New shift times are 8-10 am, 10 am-12 pm, 11:30 am-1:30 pm, and 1:30-3:30 pm.

What an amazing service opportunity God has provided for us at CLC Indy! We have the privilege of helping these students continue their education during this time of uncertainty, and to share with them the certain and unwavering love of Jesus Christ. BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP TO DO IT! Please click on the above link and sign up for one or more shift(s). After you sign up, you will be emailed additional information, including health and safety measures, and a link where you can complete our standard volunteer background check, if you have not done so recently. Thank you for prayerfully considering this volunteer effort as we serve the community.

(Please note: If you haven’t filled out a background check for CLC in the past, please allow 48 hours for the background check to be processed before your first volunteer date.)
