Women's Bible Studies

    Get ready for a great year of Bible Study with your sisters in Christ! Start thinking about which study you'd like to be a part of... the list of our fall 2023 Women's Bible studies is below. These studies meet weekly, unless otherwise indicated.

    MONDAYS

    9:45-11:15 AM (begins Sept. 18)

    • Location: Fishers, classroom N (cry room)
    • Topic: To be determined. 
    • Frequency: Meets every other Monday
    • Leaders: Kendall Kincaid and Katie Cissna

    9:00-10:15 AM (begins Sept. 18)

    • Location: Carmel, room 101A
    • Topic: This study will vary in themes and texts every week. It will keep us in His word, bring us closer together in community, and grow us in our faith walk.
    • Leaders: Kate Giger and Abby Kruse

    TUESDAYS

    9:15-10:30 AM (begins Sept. 12)

    • Location: Carmel, room 102
    • LIFT (Ladies in Fellowship Together): A continuation of the Pastor’s Study from Sunday mornings. (But you don't have to have been at the Sunday study to be part of this one!)
    • Leader: Pastor Max Murphy and Karen Swayze
       

    7-8:30 PM (begins Sept. 12)

    • Location: Fishers, classroom N (cry room)
    • Tuesday Night Women’s Bible Study: We follow the themes and texts of the coming weekend’s sermon. This study will keep us in His Word, bring us closer in community with one another, and help us to grow in our faith walk.

    WEDNESDAYS

    9:30-11 AM (begins Sept. 6)

    • Location: Carmel, room 100
    • God of Covenant: Beginning with Genesis 12, we will walk alongside the fathers of our faith – Abraham, Issac, Jacob and Joseph – to discern Jesus in the stories of His people. (Author: Jen Wilkin)

    4:30-5:30 PM (begins Sept. 13)

    • Location: Carmel, room 101A
    • Joy – A study of Philippians: This Close look at Paul’s letter to the Philippians, the “letter of joy” unpacks messages of contentment, confidence, humility and hope – all found in Christ and infused with joy – in the mountain top moments and in the mundane. (Author: Deb Burma)

    THURSDAYS

    9:30-11 AM (begins Sept. 14)

    • Location: Carmel, Room 101A
    • James: James is a letter written to a suffering church to spur them on to live authentic lives of faith. In this study, we, too, will learn to apply those same truths to our faith. (Author: Keri Folmar)

    7-8:30 PM (begins Sept. 14)

    • Location: Carmel, Room 101A
    • CovenantGod’s Enduring Promises: This study explores God’s initiatives with humanity by studying His covenants throughout history and shows that the idea of covenant ― God’s enduring promise ― is key to understanding our relationship to God. (Author: Kay Arthur)
